Some publishers ask you to choose between death or glory, EC Comics says, why not both? Just ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, Oni Press and William M. Gaines Agent, Inc. have announced Outlaw Showdown #1, the first in a new series of 56-page one-shots that blend EC’s signature brand of brutal justice with genre storytelling from across time and space.
Launching this October, Outlaw Showdown #1 kicks things off with a bang, delivering six rounds of revenge-fueled Western tales from a stacked roster of comics heavyweights. Expect dusty standoffs, crooked outlaws, and righteous fury in a blood-soaked tribute to EC’s classic roots, featuring stories by John Arcudi, Brian Azzarello, David Lapham, Tony Moore, Ann Nocenti, and more.
Also included is a newly restored and remastered classic Western story from the original EC archives—perfect for longtime fans and curious newcomers alike.
