#5: Assorted Crisis Events #5
‘Assorted Crisis Events’ #5 is visually experimental and emotional
Assorted Crisis Events #5 is a masterclass in emotional storytelling and visual experimentation, using the comic form itself to explore the inescapable loops of trauma. It’s a bold, moving issue that rewards careful reading and reinforces why this series is one of the most daring in comics today.

#4: News From the Fallout #2
News from the Fallout #2 continues the forward momentum of the debut issue, immersing readers in a world soaked with nuclear age paranoia and horror while offering deeper insight into its characters. Condon and Love are crafting something special here, and I’m intrigued to see where it goes in future issues.

#2: Justice League: Dark Tomorrow Special #1
All in all, Justice League: Dark Tomorrow Special #1 is a solid one-shot that fires on all cylinders, but it does require familiarity with recent DC events to understand its larger significance. Dark Tomorrow is also required reading as part of the setup for DC K.O., that releases in October 2025.

#1: Titans Annual 2025
In a story that shows just how special and sensational comics are capable of being, Titans Annual 2025 is already my favorite comic of the year, if not ever. It’s a fantastic story that teaches readers how important love is in shaping who we are. If you only pick up one comic this year, let it be this one.
