Coming Home

King of the Hill ran for 13 seasons beginning in the late 90s on Fox. It followed a family along with their neighbors and friends in a small Texas town. The series returns over a decade later to catch up with the Hills.

Season 14 finds Hank and Peggy after years working in the Middle East to build up their savings. The couple return to Arlen, Texas to live out their retirement and reconnect with their son and old friends. However, they discover things have changed back home and must adjust to a new lifestyle.

Stream the entire fourteenth season of King of the Hill starting today, August 4, on Hulu. Catch our review here.

Family Drama

Wednesday, the reimagining of the fictional Addams Family, returns this week. The titular daughter goes back to school at Nevermore Academy for another year where she encounters another supernatural mystery.

However, this season, her family plays a bigger role on the series. First off, her younger brother Pugsley enrolls at the school and he has problems fitting in. Then, her parents Morticia and Gomez find themselves on campus more straining their complicated relationship with their daughter. At least Wednesday’s Grandmama is a family member she is excited to see.

Wednesday season two part one releases Wednesday, August 6, on Netflix.

The Life That Could Be

Demascus is a young man looking for spiritual answers about his life. He goes through an immersive experimental therapy as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. The virtual reality world allows him to experience alternate timelines of his own life.

The series is from playwright Tearrance Arville Chisolm and is executive produced by Mark Johnson and Myki Bajaj. It stars Okieriete Onaodowan, Janet Hubert, Caleb Eberhardt, Shakira Ja’nai Paye, and Martin Lawrence.

Watch Demascus beginning Thursday, August 7, on Tubi.
