On September 20, 2025, fans across the globe will come together for Batman Day, an annual celebration of DC’s legendary Dark Knight. Since his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 back in 1939, Batman has inspired generations with stories that showcase his determination, ingenuity, and grit.
This year, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced they are going all out with events, comics, collectibles, and more. That’s saying a lot since year over year, they blow us away with ways to celebrate Batman.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood
For one day only, fans can take part in an immersive Batman-themed studio tour. Expect trivia, photo ops, rare props, and classic Batmobiles from the archives, plus a complimentary copy of Batman & Robin Year One #1 (Mark Waid and Chris Samnee). The night ends with a special screening of Batman Forever, introduced by producer Michael Uslan.
Comics & Collectibles
Comic shops will offer special Batman Day editions, including new printings of Absolute Batman #1, facsimiles of 1940’s Batman #1, and reprints of Batman & Robin Year One #1 and Batman: Year Two #1. Gaming & Animation
Fans can look forward to LEGO® Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, launching in 2026, with the Golden Age Batsuit available at release. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Animation will preview its upcoming BAT-FAM series, spinning out of Merry Little Batman. HBO Max will feature a Batman Day hub packed with movies and shows, plus marathons of Batwheels and Teen Titans Go!
Mobile gamers aren’t left out—Injustice 2 Mobile and DC Worlds Collide are rolling out free rewards and Batman-themed events through September.
Toys & Merch
Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products is teaming with Spin Master, Mattel, and LEGO for new Batman figures, playsets, and LEGO builds like the Batman Forever Batmobile and Classic 1966 Batmobile.
Social Good
Batman Day also sees the launch of a new partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, bringing the Story Lab program to 5,500 clubs nationwide.
