AIPT can exclusively reveal that Bit Bot Media and FreakZone Games’ The Rocky Horror Show Video Game will launch on the PlayStation Store on October 31, 2025, just in time to do the Time Warp all over again. This updated version of the cult hit, originally released on Steam in 2024, comes packed with new content, improved visuals, and plenty of surprises — and we’ve got your first look at exclusive screenshots and the updated trailer below.
A Retro Revival Worth Singing About
Developed and designed by Sam Beddoes of FreakZone Games (Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures), The Rocky Horror Show Video Game is a love letter to Richard O’Brien’s legendary stage musical. Players can step into the roles of Brad, Janet, or Dr. Scott, exploring meticulously recreated sets from The Rocky Horror Show in nostalgic 8-bit glory.

More Madness from Bit Bot Media
The game’s release follows Bit Bot Media’s recent announcement of Bride of Rocky Horror, the first officially licensed original Rocky Horror graphic novel, now funding on Kickstarter. Written by Magdalene Visaggio (Girlmode) with art by Noemi Vettori (X-Men Unlimited) and a cover by Soo Lee (Carmilla), the graphic novel follows Janet Weiss as she plunges back into a world of glamour, decadence, and danger alongside familiar faces — and a few monstrous new ones.
Both the game and graphic novel are part of Bit Bot Media’s growing multimedia revival of The Rocky Horror Show, spearheaded by Klayton (Celldweller, Scandroid) and Joshua Viola (Soul Reaver, True Believers).
