An immortal warrior. A broken oath. A spirit that never stopped watching.
AIPT Comics is proud to exclusively debut the official trailer for Honor & Curse: Eternal, the long-awaited return to Mark Londonβs mythic saga at Mad Cave Studios.
Six hundred years ago, ninja warrior Genshi Sakagura vanished from history. Cursed with immortality and bound to the war-hungry spirit known as the Tengu, he chose exile over destruction. Now, in modern-day New York, that silence is shattered. A terrorist strike and a kidnapping tied to his ancient past drag him back into a war he has spent centuries trying to avoid.
The trailer teases a cinematic clash between feudal-era vows and present-day chaos. The cage is breaking.
Created and written by Mark London, with art and a retailer incentive cover by Jaime Infante, colors by Fran Gambera, and letters by Carlos M. Mangual, Honor & Curse: Eternal expands the mythology of the original series into new and dangerous territory. Additional covers by Nick Marinkovich and Filya Bratukhin round out a visually striking launch.
London describes the new series as a reckoning for Genshi, a moment where centuries of running finally come to an end. The creative team aims to honor the spirit of the original while pushing the mythology forward, exploring what redemption looks like for someone who has lived long enough to see history forget him.
Jaime Infante brings dynamic action and expressive character work to the page, promising brutal combat and emotional weight in equal measure. Early glimpses suggest a series that leans into its supernatural roots while grounding the story in a very human struggle.
Fans of Demon Slayer, Ronin, Berserk, and dark fantasy epics will find plenty to sink their teeth into here.
Honor & Curse: Eternal #1 of 12 is already out as of February 26, 2026. Preorders are available now through your local comic shop, bookstores, or directly from Mad Cave Studios.
