PlayStation Network down for many players globally

It’s not just you – PSN is down for seemingly everybody at the moment.

UPDATE: The PlayStation Service Status page now says that all services should be up and running again.

Sony’s PlayStation platform appears to be down for many players globally, impacting access to games on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Sony’s PlayStation Service Status page admits that “Some services are experiencing issues,” and provides the following message:

You might have difficulty launching games, apps, or network features. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

The issue was first confirmed at 4:59pm on March 21. This comes on a big weekend for the platform, as Crimson Desert just launched to polarizing reviews. Players looking to make up their own minds on the game will apparently have to wait until Sony sorts out their server issues.

We will have more information on the outage and any possible remedy as soon as it becomes available.
