‘Top Chef’ season 23 Power Rankings: Week 11

Top Chef narrows down the competition to a final five.

Top Chef season 23 looks to be in the home stretch with only a few weeks remaining. The room for error is even smaller. At the end of the most recent episode, the field was narrowed down to five contestants.

The chefs arrived at Unity Park, which was the site of the quickfire. This challenge had a high level of unpredictability since Top Chef turned to its social media account to determine the details via internet polls. After the featured ingredient was revealed, peaches, everyone was given a $50 budget and 20 minutes to shop for ingredients at the local Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery. They had to choose ingredients carefully since they were unaware what other curveballs were coming. The fans also voted for 30 minutes of cook time and midway through, the poll made everyone switch stations to the person to their right and either take up the current dish or start over.

The elimination asked for a Michelin worthy dish featuring rabbit. The competitors were given 30 minutes and $400 to shop for ingredients except for Laurence. Since he won the previous elimination, he was awarded an extra $100. Consistency would be key since they would be serving a dining room of 24 guests. Amongst the guests would be mystery diners who would vote anonymously on the dishes to determine the winner.

Here are the Top Chef Power Rankings after week eleven.
