After captivating more than 20 million readers and amassing over 735,000 subscribers on Webtoon, LySandra Vuong’s supernatural queer fantasy Covenant is finally reaching its conclusion.
Today, Oni Press announced Covenant: The Final Chapter, the long-awaited finale to the acclaimed romantasy series. Even better for longtime fans, we’re excited to share an exclusive preview from the upcoming volume, which will debut in print before arriving in stores everywhere in July 2027.

The final installment finds Sunny and Ezra embarking on their most dangerous journey yet. As chaos consumes the world above, the pair descends into Hell itself in a desperate attempt to end the conflict between Heaven and Hell once and for all. Along the way, long-buried secrets finally come to light, including the truth about Sunny’s parentage and revelations that could change everything readers thought they knew about angels and demons.
“COVENANT is a supernatural action series about faith, family, and finding your place in a world that expects you to be something you’re not,” Vuong said. “What begins as an action-packed comic about exorcists, demons, and angels reveals a deeply personal story about trauma, love, and the courage to choose your own path.”
The creator also teased answers to some of the series’ biggest mysteries.
“COVENANT VOL. 6 finally gives us answers to some of the biggest questions haunting the series,” Vuong said. “Who is Sunny’s dad? And what’s his end game? Will Sunny and Ezra actually face this thing that is growing between them while they try to stop him? This book contains everything I have been looking forward to bringing to life for a very long time.”
To celebrate the finale, Oni Press has launched a Kickstarter campaign offering several exclusive editions of the book. Fans can choose from three foil-stamped hardcover versions: the Tattooed Edition, Demonic Edition, and Holy Edition. Each edition features Kickstarter-exclusive treatments and collectible packaging.
Backers will also have access to a wide assortment of exclusive merchandise developed alongside Vuong, including tarot cards, enamel pins, acrylic standees, devotional candles, wall scrolls, bookmarks, apparel, a crossbody bag, prayer beads, and remarqued art boards.
