Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, have revealed the cover lineup and preview pages for Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #2, the next chapter in the horror series from writer Joshua Williamson, artist Leomacs, colorist Pip Martin, and letterer DC Hopkins.

Arriving in comic shops on July 22, 2026, the second issue raises the stakes as law enforcement closes in while Adam desperately tries to convince his father that monsters truly exist before the full moon rises once again.
The issue features a main cover by Leomacs and Pip Martin alongside an open-to-order variant by Jacob Phillips. Collectors can also look for incentive covers, including the next installment in Maria Wolf and Mike Spicer’s connecting 1:10 series, a black-and-white version of Phillips’ cover, a 1:50 variant by Luana Vecchio, and a 1:75 variant by Anwita Citriya.
Blood of the Wolf Man marks the seventh entry in Skybound’s acclaimed Universal Monsters line, following Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives!, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, and Phantom of the Opera. The line has earned both critical acclaim and commercial success, including an Eisner Award nomination for Martin Simmonds’ interior artwork on Dracula.
Skybound also confirmed that more Universal Monsters limited series are planned, continuing the publisher’s approach of pairing acclaimed comics creators with the iconic monsters from Universal’s legendary horror catalog.
