Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, have revealed the first interior pages and variant covers for Void Rivals #32, the next installment of Robert Kirkman’s flagship Energon Universe series. Issue #31, read our review, came out this week.
Written by Kirkman, with artwork by Conor Hughes, colors by Patricio Delpeche, and letters by Rus Wooton, the issue arrives in comic shops on July 22, 2026.
Following the fallout of the Quintesson War, Darak and Solia are forced into an uneasy partnership as they flee from danger. Lost together in unfamiliar territory, the pair must survive long enough to discover what awaits them next.
As one of the pillars of the Energon Universe, Void Rivals continues to expand the shared world with major revelations, unexpected appearances, and new characters that ripple across the larger mythology.
Issue #32 features a main cover by series co-creator Lorenzo De Felici, alongside variant covers by Conor Hughes, Iban Coello and Adriano Lucas. Collectors can also look for incentive covers by Andrea Sorrentino, plus a 1:50 variant from the Ice Cream Man team of Martín Morazzo and Chris O’Halloran.
