The top ranked North American World of Warcraft guild Complexity Limit has dethroned Method, the reigning champions from across the Atlantic, after a heated race to secure the world first kill on the final boss on mythic difficulty in the latest WoW raid, Ny’alotha.
Complexity Limit has been leading the race from the start, claiming 8 world first kills on the 12 bosses found in the raid. With their world first kill on N’Zoth, the raid’s final boss, this is the first time since 2012 that a US guild has completed a mythic tier raid before the rest of the world. Congratulations to Complexity Limit for bringing PVE glory back to the US and for an incredible showing throughout their journey to world first.
It took Complexity Limit 274 attempts to down N’Zoth, which is over 150 more attempts then it took them to down Il’Gynoth, the fight they spent the second most amount of time working on. The guild’s raid group was made up of 2 tanks, 4 healers, and 14 DPS, with several classes being chosen specifically for their ability to negate damage, a key to surviving the fight: 4 Mages, 3 Paladins, and 2 Hunters.
