NEON Acquires Worldwide Rights to Amy Seimetz’s ‘She Dies Tomorrow’

NEON acquires a SXSW favorite.

There were so many interesting movies set to screen at SXSW. One of the most intriguing was She Dies Tomorrow. Directed by Amy Seimetz, the thriller is about a woman who is convinced she is going to die tomorrow. Naturally, this sends her on an emotional whirlwind that ends up engulfing her close friend.

Despite the cancellation of SXSW, the movie still ended up with considerable buzz. NEON announced today they have acquired worldwide rights to the movie. Founded in 2017, NEON is already one of the most decorated film distribution companies of recent years. Their most recent success was Parasitewhich made history at the Academy Awards when it became the first non English speaking film to win Best Picture.

NEON stated, “Amy Seimetz is a bold new voice and with the groundbreaking SHE DIES TOMORROW has easily created one of the most prescient films of the decade.  We’re thrilled to be able to bring this unique and incredible SXSW premiere to audiences all around the world.”
