Square Enix announced a new Kingdom Hearts game today — Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.
The latest entry in the Kingdom Hearts series is unlike anything that’s come before it. And yeah sure, you always hear that about new games, but this time it’s true. Melody of Memory is a rhythm action adventure game that will require players to him button commands in sync with the beat of the game’s music.

We likely would have seen Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory at this year’s E3 convention, but along with every other major public gathering, it was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Depending on the stage, Disney characters will appear as guests and lend you their strength. The game features a massive catalog of over 140 songs, including music from the Kingdom Hearts series, Disney, and more. Enjoy rhythm-based action through unforgettable music.
There are four play modes including online battles.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year. It’s a big moment for Nintendo fans as this is the first entry in the franchise to make its way to the Switch.
