Dallas and Robo receive another shot at stock car racing; this time on Mars. Victor Goldsmith, the owner of the local Golden Pathfinder casino, decides to hold races to generate excitement and attract more people to the planet. With another shot at fame and glory, will Dallas blow the opportunity again like she did on Earth?

She relishes the adrenaline rush that the competition brings and she seems in her element. Her and Robo’s chemistry translates on the track as the AI keeps his driver informed of hazards and strategies from within the pit. However, Dallas becomes irked when her biggest rival from Earth shows up and starts racing against her.
If you thought the sight of multiple sloppy drunk Dallases last week was the character at her worst, you don’t really see her rock bottom until now. She devolves into an out of control arrogant superstar athlete binge drinking the night before a race and she fires all her friends, who are only trying to help her, from the crew. She makes amends with everyone before the biggest race but can’t help herself and makes one last mistake that may be unforgivable.
After being fired from the crew, Fat Paul and The Woodsman need to find another way to make money so they decide to exploit their relationship with Dallas and sell marked up merchandise at her races. It turns out to be quite the lucrative business.
“Le Mars” does a nice job bringing together all the elements throughout the season. We see the cannibal bikers, Victor Goldsmith, the Phobos people and the stranger in white. With only two more episodes, it’s good to have all these pieces in play and hopefully we see how all the loose threads and unanswered questions are resolved by the end.
In addition, after multiple references to Dallas’ stock car racing, it was good to finally see her in action. The one-two punch with her and Robo shows why they were such a formidable team on Earth. But the side we see of her this episode is more than her typical fun loving but annoying self. She does some pretty despicable things. Even though her apology is heartfelt it’s a bit unbelievable that her friends would so easily forgive her, even for a comedy.
She still manages to mess things up and now she’s on the outs with her best friend Robo. We find her in a different place at the end of “Le Mars” This time around she might experience a true redemption arc that seems more satisfying.
The sixth episode of Dallas & Robo combines many different aspects from throughout the season to help build up to the finale. We finally see Dallas in her element, tearing it up on the race track but it unleashes a less likeable side.
