Invincible: Amazon release first full trailer for the upcoming animated series

A plethora of quips and blood splatter across the series’ first official trailer.

Yesterday, Amazon released the first full trailer for its upcoming Invincible series. We’d already gotten some clips and teases, but this is our first really good look at how exciting, funny, and brutally violent the show might be.

If you’re a fellow fan of the comic series this is based on, then you likely joined me in a sigh of relief when they stopped just short of revealing one of the story’s major opening plot twists.

You also likely noticed that the animation looks like Ryan Ottley’s animation brought to life. I’ve seen the first three episodes and am prohibited from a proper review until the embargo lifts, but yeah…let’s just say that I’m very pleased.

The voice cast is as good as advertised, especially Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible. I could simply be conforming my memories from when I binged the entire series a couple years ago, but the dude sounds exactly the way I voiced him in my head.

It’s also worth noting that as bloody as some of those fight scenes looked, it’s still nowhere near as intense as things get.

Invincible premieres March 26 on Amazon Prime.
