Today, Image Comics/Skybound, along with Hasbro, announced a “Choose Your Side” fan initiative that will allow readers to vow loyalty to either G.I. Joe or Cobra, and their allegiance will be featured in the series’ pages. Readers can go to GIJoeChooseYourSide.com to choose their allegiance and upload a photo of themselves to be included in an upcoming issue. Skybound is promising that the ads will run until every single eligible submission has been featured.

JOE history and our way of thanking all the amazing fans who have made the Energon Universe the hottest line of comics in the industry,” said Arune Singh, VP Brand, Editorial, Skybound Entertainment. “So many fans – including all of us at Skybound – dreamt of having our names in our favorite comics and it’s exciting to go one step further by giving Skybound Insiders a chance to see their faces side-by-side fellow members in the biggest new comic book launch of the year!”
This is all in celebration of Joshua Williamson and Tom Reilly’s upcoming inclusion of G.I. Joe and Cobra into the Energon Universe with G.I. Joe #1 on November 13.
