The bloody saga of Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR is far from over. BOOM! Studios announced today that the immortal warrior B. will return this fall in a brand-new miniseries titled BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide. The series comes from Eisner Award-winning writer Marjorie Liu (Monstress) and artist Garry Brown (The Massive), who are set to take the franchise into darker, oceanic depths.
So what’s next for B.? According to BOOM!, the story begins when a pirate captain follows a strange heartbeat into the ocean’s depths, only to uncover a chained iron box containing the deformed mass of B. himself. Once awakened, B. is forced into yet another brutal battle, this time to protect the crew from an ambush at sea. But while the blood is sure to flow, the real questions linger: what is the captain really after, and what secrets is she hiding beneath her hunt for such a dangerous prize?
The debut issue will feature main cover art from series artist Garry Brown, along with a stacked lineup of variants from Rebeca Puebla, Michael Dialynas, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Khary Randolph, and more.
For those keeping track, this new series continues BOOM! Studios’ efforts to expand the BRZRKR universe beyond the original run by Reeves, Matt Kindt, and Ron Garney. It joins a robust slate of creator-owned hits from the publisher’s flagship imprint, including Something is Killing the Children, Grim, and Rare Flavours, as well as licensed titles like Power Rangers Prime and Dune: House Corrino.
BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide #1 is set to hit comic shops on November 26, 2025. Pre-orders are available now through your local comic shop, while digital copies will be available on Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
