Dead as Disco – Early Access (5/5)

Dead as Disco is Brain Jar’s ambitious, musically drenched beat-em-up that feels like a baby of Sifu and Hi-Fi Rush. You play as Charlie Disco, a fallen music icon who returns from the dead, intending to reclaim his spotlight by battling his former bandmates through fast-paced, music-driven combat. Dead as Disco‘s combat system is all about timing your moves with the rhythm of the beats and forming a chain of combo attacks to take down enemies quickly. The game has big, flashy boss battles, arcade-style progression, and various song challenges to keep its players busy for days.

Wax Heads is described as a “cosy-punk slice-of-life” visual novel where you manage a struggling record store while dealing with customers of vibrant personalities. Your job is to listen to each customer’s request, search the store for a relevant record through given clues, and wrap up their order. Visually, the game’s gorgeous comic-book art style really adds to the cozy vibe, along with the characters’ quirky, humorous dialogues that guarantee to keep its players invested.
WILL: Follow The Light (5/7)

WILL: Follow The Light is a first-person, narrative-driven adventure game that is set in the harsh northern latitudes. You play as Will, who is on a journey to reunite with his family, and to do so, he has to brave difficult terrains, sail endless waters, and solve challenging puzzles. The gameplay blends realistic sailing and dog-sledding mechanics with emotional, story-focused exploration.
Mixtape – (5/7)

Mixtape is a coming-of-age adventure set in the 1990s and told from the POV of Stacy Rockford, a teenager who loves creating mixtapes and aspires to become a music supervisor in Hollywood. The story follows Rockford and her friends, Slater and Cassandra, and their final mixtape of the summer. The game is playable in the form of “narrative vignettes” that explore cherished memories and pivotal moments of the characters. Mixtape also features music from DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, the Cure, and much more.
