Samsung has officially confirmed its involvement in Sony Pictures’ upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, following multiple appearances of its devices in the movie’s record-breaking first trailer.
To mark the partnership, Sony Pictures and Samsung have announced the Spidey Tracker, an interactive fan experience inspired by a key element of the film. In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Ned Leeds creates a custom website powered by Samsung Galaxy technology to help track Spider-Man’s whereabouts. That concept is now becoming a real-world platform for fans.
The Spidey Tracker will serve as a hub for campaign content tied to the film, featuring cast appearances, interviews, live events, content drops, hidden Easter eggs, and fan-submitted Spider-Man sightings. Fans can follow along as Ned guides users through the experience, creating a shared community centered around the web-slinger’s latest adventure.
The platform launches Wednesday, June 17 at 3 p.m. ET at SpideyTracker.com alongside the debut of the film’s second trailer. Fans can visit the site now to watch a video from Ned explaining the origins of the tracker and how it works.
Samsung’s devices will also play a visible role in the film itself. The compact design of the Galaxy Z Flip appears in Spider-Man’s hands, while Ned Leeds uses the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Watch as he searches for the elusive hero throughout the story.
