Marvel screened the whole first episode of ‘The Defenders’ at SDCC 2017 and confirmed new seasons

Some good news for Marvel MCU fans.

Jeph Loeb confirmed today at the Defenders panel at San Diego Comic Con that in addition to the teamup show hitting Netflix next month, the standalone shows that lead up to The Defenders are all getting new seasons as well. Season 2 of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones and, Iron Fist are in the works, as well as Daredevil season 3.

The biggest surprise however came when it was announced the entire first episode of The Defenders would screen for the people in attendance at SDCC tonight.

The Defenders stars Finn Jones, Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, and Mike Colter, and releases on Netflix August 18.
