We get a glimpse of DC Comics past and future in Super Sons #12

Super Sons #12 is an epilogue issue and rightfully so!

SPOILERS ahead. You’ve been warned.

“Super Sons of Tomorrow” ends this week and the story has put Jon and Damian in danger big time. Batman from the future (aka Tim Drake) was on a mission to kill Superman’s son to save the future. Well, more or less. Things get complicated with time travel and in Super Sons #12 an epilogue issue opens with a reveal that could shake DC Comics for some time.

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly comics podcast!

In this double page spread, we see Tim Drake of the future take one for the team and in the process blip out of existence. It’s through his captions we get a sense that we might be seeing future events too.

I can’t be 100% certain, but most of the panels around him show scenes we’ve seen before. Unless I’m missing something. Let me know in the comments!
