The Avengers were jubilantly relieved when one of their greatest, Voyager, returned to help neutralize the global threat in the weekly “No Surrender” story. Except, of course, we all know that’s not true. Voyager was never a member of the team, and in today’s Avengers #683, we discover someone else understands the truth, too.
Beast bears witness, as he saw Jarvis’ memories unfurl like a movie projector while shrunk down to tiny size in order to do physical battle with the pathogen attacking the legendary butler.
Being a “living history” must have its benefits, though it’s unclear how Jarvis avoided the mass memory rewrite. One thing’s for sure — it’s probably not good that this imposter teammate has absconded with the last Pyramoid.
