He may not be Jesus, but Luke Cage, the nigh invulnerable superhero and member of the Defenders, returns in season 2 on Netflix — and this time, he may have met his match, if the season 2 trailer is any indication, which hit the internet today. Check it out below:
This time around, Luke Cage takes on Bushmaster (Nustafa Shakir), who is every bit as bulletproof as Cage himself.
According to Netflix, here’s the breakdown for season 2:
After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.
