‘Avengers: Infinity War’ had a major ‘Arrested Development’ easter egg

A surprising easter egg cameo was revealed on the ‘Late Show’.

The title of this article may be one of the most shocking things you read today. In last night’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert David Cross was a guest. Seemingly there due to Arrested Development getting a new season May 29th, or because he’s kicking off a new comedy tour, the actor revealed to the audience, he appeared in Avengers: Infinity War. In a twist, Cross pointed out he wasn’t playing himself but was playing fan favorite character Tobias Fünke who blue’d himself after attempting to join the Blue Man Group. See for yourself in the image below.

As you can see David Cross appeared inside one of The Collector’s boxes. Clearly, he’s a specimen worth keeping around. This has me wondering a lot of things, for instance, how did Tobias get collected at all, do any of the other characters exist in this universe? Will he make it back to his family? Does the new season of Arrested Development take place before or after Avengers: Infinity War?
