Thanos creator Jim Starlin says “the Mouse got played;” takes Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn’s side

“Disney accepted a ridiculous apple and oranges argument and made one hell of a bad call.”

One of comicdom and the MCU’s most heated and polarizing topics lately has been the firing of Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn after some tasteless, provocative tweets from his past were dug up.

Drax actor Dave Bautista immediately took to the director’s defense, citing the decision as a “cybernazi attack:”

And hours ago, Thanos creator Jim Starlin took a similar stance, claiming Disney “got played,” and that “the whole uproar over them was plainly ginned up by two Breitbart hatchet men, John Nolte and Mike Cernovich, in response to Rosanne Barr’s firing for her repeated hate-filled and racist tweets.”

Starlin went on to agree with Bautista: “I have to agree with Dave Bautisa on this one. Disney accepted a ridiculous apple and oranges argument and made one hell of a bad call.”
