D-Generation X just reformed on WWE Raw; Shawn Michaels is coming out of retirement

Complete with ready-made reunion t-shirts.

If you’ve been following WWE at all, you knew it was coming, but tonight it’s been made official: D-Generation X is back once again, and Shawn Michaels is coming out of retirement to take on The Undertaker and Kane alongside Triple H at WWE Crown Jewel next month.

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly wrestling podcast, PTW!

At Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia, Triple H and The Undertaker had a brutal no disqualification match, where Triple H was victorious over the Deadman following interference from Shawn Michaels. All four men raised their hands in a sign of respect, only for Undertaker and Kane to betray that respect by suddenly attacking Michaels and Helmsley.

As a result, the Heartbreak Kid has announced his respect for the Undertaker never should have existed in the first place, and since that was the only reason he has stayed retired since their epic clash at WrestleMania XXVI in 2010.

From there, DX laid the challenge out to the Brothers of Destruction (yes, this is a 2018 episode of Raw and not a 1997 one) for Crown Jewel. And if you’re not down with that….they’ve got too words for ya: Too bad, because it’s happening.
