Leaked Avengers 4 photo reveals Pepper Potts in [spoiler]

What role will Pepper Potts play in Avengers 4?

Warning: Spoilers for Avengers 4 ahead.

Who will fill the shoes of the fallen Avengers and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes when the dust settles and the Infinity War story arc continues in Avengers 4? We all know heavy-hitting Captain Marvel is one guarantee; now according to an image leaked from the set of Avengers 4 earlier today, all signs point towards another powerful superheroine serving as reinforcement for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes:

Namely, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who went from Tony Stark’s assistant to Stark Enterprises CEO and fiancee. We’ve already seen Pepper take decisive action against Iron Man’s enemies in two of his films already, so the move to suit her up in the Rescue armor (a suit of Iron Man armor which Tony made specifically for Pepper, first appearing in Invincible Iron Man Vol. 2 #10) makes sense and looks bad-ass to boot.

Will Pepper and Tony fight side-by-side against Thanos in Avengers 4, even after all the efforts she’s made to dissuade Tony from fighting in recent films? Sound off in the comments.
