The CW is developing ‘Super Clean,’ a superhero cleanup show based on an upcoming graphic novel

Super Clean will focus on Becky Masters, an exceptionally organized person who leads a group of cleaners to fix superhero messes.

The CW are planning a new superhero adjacent show, Super Clean — a show that sounds fairly similar to Marvel’s Damage Control.

According to Deadline, Super Clean will focus on Becky Masters, an exceptionally organized person who leads a group of cleaners to fix superhero messes.

Back in 2015 ABC attempted a Damage Control show based on the Marvel comic of the same name, though it didn’t come to be. The premise of that show was a construction company fixing property damage caused by fights between superheroes and supervillains.

I’m intrigued to see how Super Clean will compare to it; will this be the closest we get to a Damage Control show? Similar to the Kick-Ass film being based on a comic that was yet to be published at the time, Super Clean‘s reportedly based on an upcoming graphic novel. I find it fascinating when this sort of thing happens. Could be a wise choice, so to decrease comparisons to the source material, while possibly increase excitement for the comic.

Sascha Rothchild, who produced Netflix’s GLOW, will be both writing and executive producing Super Clean.
