First poster for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ reveals a colorful look at Diana’s armor

Wonder Woman: Ragnarok? This poster from Wonder Woman 1984 evokes some seriously colorful, fun vibes.

Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to the DC Universe franchise revitalizing first film is slated to hit theaters exactly one year from now and to acknowledge the fact, DC released the first poster for the film, one which provides a colorful glimpse at Diana (Gal Gadot) armored up like a gleaming golden goddess:

The poster definitely evokes some Thor: Ragnarok vibes and if the casting decision of Kristen Wiig as Cheetah is any indication, comparisons to the playful, whimsical tone of Ragnarok may be very apt indeed when all is said and done.

Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters on June 5th, 2020. The film will be helmed by returning director Patty Jenkins.
