AEW is now the Perfect 10.

Shawn Spears, formerly known as Tye Dillinger in WWE, has officially joined All Elite Wrestling. The promotion confirmed the news on their Twitter account this afternoon.

Spears appeared at AEW’s Double or Nothing inaugural PPV as a competitor in the Casino Battle Royale, but was not under contract with the company at the time. Since that event, he has made appearances in multiple independent promotions, but now he is a full-time member of AEW’s roster.

Spears gained fame in WWE as Tye Dillinger, where he gained notoriety as a member of their NXT brand with his “Perfect 10” character. However, Spears was in the WWE system as early as 2006. He was called up to the main roster in 2017, but was not used on television often. He suffered a hand injury in October 2018 that took him out of action until he requested his release in February 2019.
