Superboy joins the Legion of Super-Heroes and fellow legionnaires get new look

Dawnstar, Dreamgirl, Matter-Eater Lad, Element Lad and Blok are looking fresh.

Last month fans got their first look at the first round of new costumes for the characters of Brian Michael Bendis and Ryan Sook’s upcoming ongoing series, Legion of Super-Heroes. The series makes its long awaited return this fall in a special two-part prelude that kicks off with Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium #1 on September 4, 2019.

Working with Bendis on the two-part special is a slew of superstar artists, including Jim Lee, Dustin Nguyen, Nicole Scott, and Andrea Sorrentino. The end of the special will culminate in the start of a monthly ongoing Legion of Super-Heroes series, with Sook and Bendis at the helm.

Today, fans got a look at the latest members of the team to receive a Ryan Sook makeover, legionaries Blok, Dawnstar, Dreamgirl, Element Lad and Matter-Eater Lad. Oh, and Mr. Jon Kent himself, aka Superboy! Take a look for yourself below. The changes are rather significant with some of the characters.
