This summer, the friendly neighborhood Spider-man will take on the Green Monster. Local residents and visitors will be able to watch the 2019 Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature Film at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.
When one thinks of summer, one thinks of ballparks. When one thinks of ballparks, one thinks of Fenway. This August, the home of the Boston Red Sox invites you to experience the film in their stadium. This is a great opportunity to watch Into the Spider-verse with a huge audience and to be part of a community event.
Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse tells the story of Miles Morales and his role in the Spider-man multiverse. Starring Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, and Lily Tomlin, this coming of age story is one the entire family will enjoy.
The event, presented by L.L Bean, will take place August 13th with the film starting at 8 p.m. Lunch boxes will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.Gates open at 6:45 p.m. when the tracks will be open to provide photo opportunities with the World Series Trophies. Entrance is through gates A and D. Tickets are $10, $5 for kids under 12, and free to ages 2 and under.
