The Deuce is back for its third and final season. This season is fast forwarded to the 80’s. The Martino brothers are still making money and the porn industry has advanced to its latest media.
The trailer shows a New Year’s Eve celebration and we see all the familiar characters. The seediness of the previous decade has made way for the ultra glam look of the 80’s. Candy, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, seems to be more in control than ever. Detective Chris Alston played by Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is still on the case. And Frankie Martino, played by James Franco is as carefree as ever while Vincent (also Franco) is working.
HBO’s The Deuce has moved to Mondays for its final season and premieres on September 9th.
