And just like that, summer is over. Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel had a chance to watch a lot of movies the past few months. The only thing to do is rate them using a very scientific system that determined the best movies of a very exciting summer movie season.
The show starts with talk of the D23 Fan Expo. Black Panther 2, Lizzie McGuire, and WandaVision are all discussed. Of course, this leads to a discussion about the Rise of Skywalker. Everyone shares their thoughts on Rey’s awesome lightsaber and what it means.
The boys also talk about the final Joker trailer. Blake talks about why he is a little apprehensive while all agree Joaquin Phoenix looks to have put in an amazing performance.
The show takes a slightly different route this week with some video game discourse. Nathaniel talks about Control while Blake discusses Telling Lies. The three also talk about nostalgia and adventure games.
Nathaniel goes over all the movies he watched about ladies and boys, Danny talks about actresses he has never seen before, and Blake talks about serial killers.
The main topic this week is the best movies of the summer. Some picks are not shocking, but there is also plenty of surprises. This also leads into a talk about how good this year’s superhero movies have been and how the year in movies has been in general.
