The WWE Network will play host to an hour-long Starrcade special event this Sunday, December 1, at 7 pm EST. The matches will be held at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia and the in-arena show for fans in attendance begins at 6:30 pm EST.
Starrcade was created as a live closed-circuit wrestling event by the late great Dusty Rhodes in 1983. Since that time the event has gone through several different iterations and after a 17-year hiatus, WWE breathed new live into Starrcade as a Smackdown branded live event on Nov. 25, 2017. Last year’s event was co-branded and aired as a one-hour WWE Network special.
This year’s event will feature two matches:
The first is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match between The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.
The second match will pit Rusev against Bobby Lashley, escorted by Lana, in a Last Man Standing match.
Wednesday afternoon WWE announced via WWE’s The Bump that The Nature Boy Ric Flair will join the show as a guest of KO on the Kevin Owens Show.
