Watch: ‘Persona 5 Royal’ U.S. Release Date Revealed!

‘Persona 5 Royal’ will be here soon!

I can not say enough good things about Persona 5. The Atlus role playing game was unleashed on Western audiences in April 2017. The game was tremendous. Excellent characters, a magnificent soundtrack, and graphics that bordered on being too good made it the best game of the year. It was so good, it made it almost impossible to enjoy any game that was released after.

After hundreds of hours and multiple playthroughs, it looked like it was finally time to move past the game. As great as P5 is, “too much of a good thing” is more than just a cliche. I had finally gotten my fill of the game.

Then, Persona 5 Royal was announced.

P5 Royal is more than just a DLC pack. The release will include the original game with a new Phantom Thief, new music, and new gameplay. There will also be a new semester to play and added game mechanics.

Persona 5 Royal is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 on March 31, 2020.
