Watch the first trailer for ‘A Quiet Place Part II’

Ssshhh!

Is there a better way to start the New Year than with some horror? The folks over at Paramount don’t think so and thus they’ve released the first full trailer for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place Part II, the much-anticipated follow-up to his 2018 hit.

The film was first teased last month with a short teaser that played with the horror film Black Christmas in theaters.

In A Quiet Place Part II Emily Blunt returns as the Matriarch of the Abbott family alongside her two children played by Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. Together the three of them and the family’s newborn must journey away from their farm into the outside world where they’ll find that the monsters who hunt by sound aren’t the only threats lurking in the silence.

Watch the trailer below:

Emily Blunt’s real-life husband John Krasinski is in the director’s chair once again and this time he’s the only writer behind the screenplay. Joining the cast is Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters on March 20, 2020.
