Adventures in Movies! Episode 49: 2019 in Review

The only podcast brave enough to look back on 2019!

Special guest Pablo joins Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel to try something that has never been done. The four look back on 2019. No podcast, website, or television show has ever done a year in review. The four do their best to review one of the most interesting years in film.

Before the four begin talking about 2019, they discuss The Irishman. All of them watched the movie recently and have lots of thoughts. Is it too long? What did they feel about another crime film from Martin Scorsese? Is it even a crime film?

This leads into a brief discussion about Parasite. Blake finally got a chance to watch the movie. What are his thoughts?

The gang begin to talk about the recently ended year. What were the biggest movies and disappointments? The four eyed guys talk Joker, Star Wars, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
