Dawn of X grows with X-Factor relaunch by Leah Williams and David Baldeón in April

New X-Men series coming this April 2020.

Dawn of X has been a huge hit thanks to the incredible new direction brought to us by Jonathan Hickman, R.B. Silva, Pepe Larraz and color artists Marte Gracia (with David Curiel). It’s about to get a lot more interesting by a factor of X this April. Leah Williams and David Baldeón revealed exclusively via Polygon they will be working on a new X-Factor series. This is great news for fans of Williams and Baldeón’s excellent Gwenpool Strikes Back! series which just wrapped up.

Check out the cover art to the first 48-page issue below.

In the interview, Leah Williams said they “planned on having X-Factor report to the Five for obvious resurrection work reasons,” and even more interestingly Williams asked if they “could focus a significantly greater concentration on the Five to not only help develop their evolving group dynamic but also how they come to establish each resurrection protocol.” Hmm seems like the mutants never-dying element is a big factor in the new series.

Dropping this April, X-Factor #1 will have variant covers from Otto Schmidt, Ema Lupacchino, David Baldeón, and Tom Muller. For even more on the new title and more from Leah Williams check out the Polygon article!
