A tree will be planted for every new Daniel Bryan shirt sold

Every shirt sold is also made out of recycled plastic bottles.

Daniel Bryan has a new t-shirt out on WWE Shop, but this isn’t just any t-shirt: Bryan announced via his Twitter account that not only is the shirt made out of a blend of organic cotton and recycled plastic bottles, but thanks to a partnership with American Forests, for every shirt sold, a tree will be planted.

“It may look like any regular tee, but it’s actually made from organic cotton and recycled poly rPET blend that makes the fabric more durable and heavyweight,” the shirt’s description reads. “Each shirt saves at least 4 plastic bottles from ending up in a landfill, or worse. Helping to clean our planet will make YOU The Planet’s Champion.”

Bryan is an avid environmentalist, and has mentioned advocating for a program like this with WWE for some time now. It’s encouraging to see it come to fruition.
