All the movie trailers from the Super Bowl

The most anticipated movies of the year make an appearance at the Super Bowl.

For some, the best part of the Super Bowl are the commercials. Even for non football fans, the NFL’s biggest game of the year is when they get to see the best (most expensive) advertisements of the year. This is not just limited to ads for beer and chips. The Super Bowl is also a chance to see movie trailers for some of the most anticipated movies of the year. Here are all the movie trailers and announcements from the Super Bowl.

 Top Gun: Maverick

This is a little bit of a cheat. This was shown right before the game started and did not show much. For Top Gun fans it was more than enough, however. The “Big Game Spot” was straight and to the point. Tom Cruise in uniform flying in his fighter plane. There may not have been a motorcycle scene or amazing set pieces, but what was shown was a great taste of what’s to come.

F9: The Fast Saga

Last year, the Super Bowl gave fans an amazing trailer for Hobbes & ShawF9 had a lot to live up and no one would fault this year’s trailer for not being as good. Still, it was surprising just how unimpressive the look at F9 was. What made the Hobbes & Shaw trailer so great was it got people who are not fans of the franchise wanting to see the movie. F9 just looks like another silly Fast & Furious installment.

No Time to Die

The latest James Bond movie looks better with each look. The ad not only shows the trademark Bond action, it also promises the next movie will change everything. Hyperbolic claims are nothing new to Hollywood, but with all the rumors that have surrounded No Time to Die, who knows what will happen in the 25 James Bond movie?

Minions: The Rise of Gru

What started as one of the better animated movies in years has quickly become a source of frustration and agitation for some. Your interest in this movie will depend entirely on how much you are able to stand Minions. Fans of the franchise will be excited to see a prequel while those who have tired of the little guys could care less.
