WWE Superstar Sasha Banks will appear in ‘The Mandalorian’ season 2

Does the bounty hunter’s guild have a new Legit Boss?

WWE’s resident Legit Boss will reportedly appear in season 2 of The Mandalorian. The news was broken by Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, and later verified by Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, who regularly appears on WWE’s Backstage program.

Sasha hasn’t been seen on WWE television for a few weeks now, leading to speculation around her physical health and whether or not she’s content with her role as Bayley’s hype-woman. This news makes it clear that she was off filming scenes for the show, and will hopefully once again be a regular on SmackDown programming soon, just in time for WrestleMania season.

The Mandalorian launched in November alongside Disney Plus, the latest offering in the streaming service war. The show is a spinoff set in the Star Wars universe, following a bounty hunter as he protects his latest bounty, the beloved and so-called “Baby Yoda.”

Neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have commented on the story.

The Mandalorian season 2 is set to premiere in October.
