Marvel reveals final Black Widow trailer and new poster

The first film of Marvel’s Phase Four is almost here.

Marvel released the final trailer and new movie poster Monday morning for the upcoming Black Widow prequel film ahead of its May 1 release date. The film takes place in-between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War in which Natasha Romanov — the Black Widow — heads back to the mother country to reunite with her family to take down the ominous masked foe, Taskmaster.

On returning to Russia, Romanoff reconnects with her former team and family in the form of fellow ex-Black Widow operative Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Alexei/The Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Melina (Rachel Weisz). The group’s mission is to take down Taskmaster, the supervillain who has taken control of the Red Room, the training facility that produces Black Widows, and has begun manipulating its agents for his own sinister purposes.

Black Widow is the first film of Marvel’s Phase Four and will be released on May 1, 2020. See the official movie poster below.
