Bandai Namco offers free download of PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2

Gobble some ghosts for free!

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that starting today for a limited time PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 will be available as a free download as part of their “more fun for everyone” initiative. The game can be downloaded and played for free on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. No strings attached, it’s yours forever.

Sorry Nintendo Switch owners, no PAC-MAN for you.

The company sent out a press release today thanking their employees for their cooperation in adapting to remote working conditions and in turn helping flatten the curve of COVID-19 infections. Bandai Namco Entertainment went on to say that they hope PAC-MAN helps everyone have a few more smiles and laughter during this difficult time, which is why they decided to release the game for free.

“Our vision is to follow our slogan word for word and provide – ‘more fun for everyone,’” said the company in a statement. “We are striving to provide entertainment that everyone can enjoy in the hope we can bring smiles and laughter to video game players throughout the world during this difficult time.”

PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 is available to download for free starting today April 24, until May 10, 2020.
