Diamond releases comic book Taskmaster figure

Available for purchase now!

Today, Diamond Select Toys provided us with a pleasant surprise by releasing a comic version figure Taskmaster for its Marvel Select toyline.

Unlike the previously revealed MCU Taskmaster figure, this one is available to order right now. Also, curse you Diamond for making/releasing such a fantastic looking toy. I was perfectly happy with the Marvel Legends version of this guy, but there’s no way I can’t pick this one up.

The figure stands at approximately 7.5″ tall and has Marvel Select’s standard 16 points of articulation. It also comes with expected assortment of accessories that you’d expect for this character:

  • Shield
  • Sword
  • Bow
  • Quiver with three removable arrows
  • Interchangeable bow firing-hand
  • Interchangeable alternate/modern head

It’s all stored in the usual display-friendly packaging Marvel Select utilizes for those of you who are total psychopaths and don’t open your toys.

Taskmaster retails for $34.99 (oof) and can currently be found at Shop Disney and Marvel’s online store. Despite that fairly steep price, I think I’m still going to have to pull the trigger on this one.

While you decide if Marvel Select’s Taskmaster is worth adding to your toy budget/shelf, here are a few more images courtesy of Diamond for you to drool over.
