In the news, there’s a lot of new comic launching news. It all starts with Tom Taylor’s Injustice: Year Zero which was announced and released on Tuesday, DC Comics revealed the next 4 Harley Quinn: Black + White + Red creatives, as well as Tales from the Dark Multiverse, which returns this November.
Meanwhile, Marvel Comics finally sets September as the target date for Black Widow #1 gets new on-sale date after the pandemic delayed it from its April start date. Marvel Comics also announced U.S. Agent is coming soon, and a wedding issue is coming for Wiccan and Hulkling plus issue #4 gets 2nd printing. In sad Marvel news, the surprise cancellation of Doctor Strange was revealed and Black Cat is getting delayed.
But wait there’s more, Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips are launching their graphic novel series with Reckless starting December, BOOM! Studios is launching a Slaughterhouse-Five graphic novel, and sadly Dark Horse says the Predator adaptation won’t be released due to shifting rights to Disney.
In alternate comics news, DC FanDome gets a guest lineup list and finally on Friday comics publisher Bad Idea shares art by Villalobos…who doesn’t have a project set up there, but actually does. Wait, what?
