Adventures in Movies! Episode 80: Good Directors; Bad Movies: Action Flicks

Everyone is allowed one mistake, right?

Everyone is allowed to make a mistake, right? Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel never do and spend the episode calling out directors who should be as perfect as they are. The three talk The PredatorHobbes & Shaw, and… Dutch?

The show starts with a talk about the last Blockbuster becoming an Air BnB for one weekend. The guys wonder what good can come out of the stunt. Nathaniel also talks about the site’s upcoming Fantasia coverage.

This week’s What You Need to Know is about movies with titles that fool audiences. This leads into a long talk about La Llorona and other horror movies.

The main segment is the good directors who did bad action movies. This includes Francis Ford Coppola, the fall of James Cameron, and the thin line being walked by Ridley Scott.

Adventures in Movies! is hosted by Nathaniel Muir, Blake, and Danny. You can find Nathaniel on Instagram at nathaninpoortaste.
