Yesterday, Hasbro unveiled its first wave of figures for Mando Mondays, a weekly promotion celebrating The Mandalorian‘s second season. The first set includes carbonized versions of previously released 3.75″ scale Vintage Collection figures. The 6″ scale Black Series will debut a new ‘Credit Collection’ line featuring concept-art inspired repaints along with an Imperial credit accessory.
I’m going to level with you and admit that I initially had no intention of doing an article on these figures. Like many collectors, I’d much rather see new figures than more repacks/repaints. After getting a better look, however, I must admit that at least a couple of the them looked good enough to share the news here.
Black Series Credit Collection
Like I stated before, these are all repaints. What makes at least two (and arguably three) of them cool is how their paint schemes are based off the beautiful concept art used for The Mandalorian‘s end credits sequences. They also come in vintage-style Kenner packaging if you’re into that.
Each figure retails for $24.99 (except for the $34.99 Heavy Infantry Mandalorian) and will be exclusive to a particular retailer. They are available now for preorder (links below) with an expected arrival in December.

Vintage Collection Carbonized Collection
Maybe it’s just grumpiness from a tough day, but I can’t really get excited about these–especially at a $17.99 MSRP. The Mandalorian one looks kind of cool, but the carbonized effect would have been much better utilized on the beskar armor version. The entire line is also a Walmart exclusive, so it’s unlikely we’ll see these figures in stores, anyway.
If you’re interested/optimistic, however, they’re currently
available for preorder out of stock at Walmart.com with an expected arrival in December.
