Yesterday, the HasLab Razor Crest campaign blew through its first stretch goal target of 8,000 backers. Unfortunately, the reward for this tier (an escape pod) didn’t do much to excite collectors, myself included. Thankfully, the newly announced second stretch goal should create significantly more buzz.
When (not if) the campaign reaches 10,000 backers, all of them will receive an exclusive 3.75-scale figure of The Child (aka Baby Yoda) in his end-of-season-1 hover pram.

While it’s been rumored that something similar will be included in the upcoming Vintage Collection Mandalorian Build Up Pack, this is the first official offering we’ve had of The Child in this scale. That alone would have increased the value, but the figure will also be individually carded.
The exclusive carded Yakface that was included with the campaign for Jabba’s sail barge commanded incredible aftermarket prices. For folks like me who don’t care about packaging, we were able to sell it on eBay and make a large amount of our barge’s cost back. That’s likely to be the case here, although I’m not sure I’d be able to abandon Baby Yoda like that.
I mean, seriously…look how cute this little guy is.

I’m guessing that another part of what makes the figure exclusive is its pram, which is modeled after the one Kuiil made (R.I.P.). I’m not sure how different the Build Up Pack pram will end up being, but this one looks pretty sweet.
It also has the added benefit of being crafted by the greatest Ugnaught who ever lived.
